I am an old aircraft mechanic and truck driver. I did actually work on the F100 jet fighter aircraft along with other aircraft that are now antique like me! I used to love to see the F100 take off early in the morning with fire shooting out the tail pipe about 4-6 ft. There is nothing like the smell of burnt jet fuel early in the morning from a jet fighter!
I started a small trucking business so I could have some pay of some kind in my old age. So from time to time I have to work on my 7.3 myself. In years past I was an over the road truck driver before the CDL and after the CDL.

The fuel prices have been a killer not to mention the insurance at $5000 a year. Then there is the break downs. So even after all the years of working on my own trucks and driving as a CDL driver I am still in the learning stage. Every day is a new day with something new to learn.
Pay-- I might do better as a door greater at Walley world! Can't do that now they did away with the "door greaters".
