I've run 992C wheel loaders, 953C track loaders, and track hoes from mini excavators with a 12" bucket to 62" bucket SK-480-LC Kobelco.

I love to run the mini excavators......its like playing a video game.

I grew up on a farm, so I'm familiar with most forms of the dirt diggers. I work in a factory now operating a 20-TON overhead crane. It has two hoists, each rated to lift 10-TONS and it's operated off a radio control box I wear on my belt. If it wasn't a job, it would be like the world's coolest RC toy!:U:

Critter looks like this, except no operator cab:

Owner operator,local 513. 31 years last year. I've owned around 38 bobcats,3 backhoes,several dump trucks,and a 953 cat. I also ran a link belt crane for several years.

Completely burnt out, started in a new business last year, just getting it going this month and it's looking like it's going to work.

nothing too huge, although I do have a bit of seat time in a Cat 320 and a deere 624 loader, this is what I run most days at the "firewood factory" it does everything I want but I need a cab for it , it is a bit cold in the winter hence being all bundled up lolhttp://img228.imageshack.us/img228/4311/12340567lh7.jpg

I started operating yellow iron when I was 10yrs old. I ran finish grade crew for a EPA sub for 6 yrs. Ran the excavation crew for 3yrs. I spent 2yrs on a D10R high track at the lake Ft. Smith dam project. To many years operating a track hoe to count. I have ran every thing from the small bobcat termite hoes up to the Cat 375 hoe loading off road trucks. I had my own zone here in the county maintaining roads with a 12G cat Then I got a new JD 670C. Had about 100miles of road that were in my zone. Did that up till a year ago when I got burnt out on it so I now run the Right of way crew. We keep all the ditches mowed in the county. I Also co. owned and operated a 2000 acre farm with my dad up until about 8 yrs ago when he decided to retire so we sold it. Here are a few pics of what I do now.

I work for the local county road department. Been around trucks and equipment all my life, but only really started operating when I got hired here about 2 years ago. They've had me on our 938G and 966G Series II loaders the most. Spent some time in the wide track D6R, and alot of time in 140H graders mixing millings. Every once and a while they throw me on a backhoe to clean ditches and little cleanup work when doing subgrade work. I run our Bearcat chipspreader also. Next month we start chipsealing hopefully, got about 100 miles to do this year :argh: I've also spent alot of time on rollers... 9 wheel rubber tires, steel wheels and sheepsfoot rollers. We just got a new 140M grader that they have me on all the time lately. Nobody likes them because everything is joystick... I like it, took a while to get used to but I'm getting the hang of it grading dirt roads. They want me to train on it and be the next finish blade with it since noone likes the joysticks and I do :U:

My parents own a 2nd generation family owned construction company here in Minnesota. The first time I ever dug a hole, I was 5 years old and sitting on my dads lap in the tractor hoe. I'm 18 now, and during the summer I work full time there. I would say about 65% of the time I'm an operator. I have operated almost every piece of equipment we have. I'm pretty good at finish dozer work, but you can't beat the fun of a D8L. I have operated pretty much everything from a D3C to a D8L, 308C to a 325C, 922B to a 980G, and tractor hoe, skid loader, No. 14 to a 143H, and 4 wheel drive Steigers. This summer i'm trying to get my dad to let me learn on the 627s.

jake 94 02-07-2011 12:25 PM

I'm only 18 years old and all I do everyday is pull levers for my dads company. I run pretty much everything from dozer, excavator, loader, dump truck, low boy, scraper, grader, etc. I'm an operator through the 612 union

redneckpipeliner 06-06-2011 09:55 PM

I am a Union Operator on the pipeline. I operate hoe's, dozers(angle blade), winch cat, side boom, blade, rubber tired hoe, loaders and most anything else for movin dirt. My last job I put 1247 hours on a hoe that I got with plastic still on the seats in 2 1/2 months. Best part is that the bucket hour meter only logged 199 hours. I started in the construction end on scrapers and loaders and dozers and backhoe's.
