tires

On my 2002 gmc dually I have found a guy that has set of 245 70 16 tires and I know the height isn't a issue but the width is I'm not reall sure if when I put them on if they will rub with a load on them the size on my pickup now is 215 85 16

245/70R16 I'd bet they are p series tires :scare2:

what does that mean:humm:

Passenger not heavy enough ply for a Dually. Look at the tires and look for a load range, should have at least load range D for a Dually. If theres a P before the tire size you don't wanna use them. If there's a LT then look for the load range. :c:

If you load it heavy you'll want Load range E :c:

Ok then I appreciate it man. I Was wonderin also if u were pretty sure that size will fit on my pickup I got 215 85 on it now and thosee are 245 70s

They're 30 millimeters wider than your tires so that would be 15 mm on each side of the rim. So you're gonna add 15 to the inside of the outside tire and 15 to the inside tire. So basically if you have over 30 mm of gap between your duals they shouldn't rub, of cours if they're a lower ply they will squat more, and you can throw all of this out the window. confused yet ? :c::c:
