6.0L VS Dmax - 2000 Silverado
Hey guys
Im starting an engine swap soon, just looking for some info. I was wondering if anyone could shed some insight on the differences between the 6.0L chassis and the Dmax chassis. Im specifically wondering about the front and rear diffs, torsion bars and leaf packs. Im working under the assumption that the frames and rad cradles are all the same. If there are any performance guys reading - at what point does the factory intercooler become too small? I've seen a few dmax's pulling big numbers with the stock intercoolers, and Im hoping to use a stock intercooler/rad/e fan setup. Thanks for any help you guys can offer. |

Im dropping a 12v in it actually - I've since traced some information saying that they're all the same.
Look for a build thread sometime in the coming months. Looking at the Pure Performance kit right now and the logistics of a Dana 80 swap out back - lots of Dodge parts wrapped up in a Chevy. :choochoo: |
