Stock Duramaxes aren't the greatest, but if you tune them with a simple tune you gain a lot

10-17 is pretty horrible :scare2:

does it have really steep gearing or a lift?

I was just wondering if it would be hard on the tranny if i just put a intake, exhaust, and an efi live. im mostly looking for good mpg when i need it. and power cause i haul equipment reguarly.

on your dodge? no efi can be set up for any mod or power level. if you want the transmission to last you can make it last by tuning it in a way that you dont exceed an unsafe power level.
