No fuel to injectors 6.5 turbo-1995 chevy
1995 6.5 turbo diesel 135,000 miles. I bought it brand new. It's been through 4 injector pumps. Symptoms were always the same, it limped home. All 4 pumps were replaced under warranty. This time was different, it died instantly while accellerating. Plenty of fuel at the bleeder. Just cranked. Called for a tow, after wating for the tow for 15 minutes I cranked again and it fired up and idled fine. The tow showed up and I had it taken home. The next morning I went out to start it and it just cranked. No fuel at injectors but plenty of fuel to the injector pump. After some checking I was told it was the module. I bought a brand new module swapped the resistor and installed. I cranked it over and it didn't fire up. I checked and no fuel to injectors. I pulled the fuel shut off solenoid energized the lift pump and fuel flowed from the port. The solenoid checked OK. I found Crazy's instructions on replacing the injector pump and am considering changing it myself. That guy is sharp. Any checks I shoud do before attempting this? Simple electrical tests. I did replace the module harness. Pulse signals and square waves are out of my league. If it's the pump who's the best supplier for the best price?
