Suncoast Trans??

what are the benefits of going with the suncoast V over IV?

From what I gather a SCV and a SCIV are the same basic components except a SCV is built in house at SC (and they replace any worn or abused part with new and they include their "tested" valve body) and the SCIV is a buid it your self kit. I think the only thing a normal "at home build" would lack is the reamer tool(s) that SC uses on the valve body, hence the "no sticking valves" comment on their site.

And the SCV has a 2 year unlimited warranty and the SCIV has what ever warranty your builder provides.

so unless i am going to be running some crazy HP it wont make much of a performance difference?

the big deal is the warentee and haveing SC themselves make the trans?
