Allison tranny
hey guys has chevy stuck with the same allison tranny since the LB7 or has it changed? if so how has it changed? do any of you guys know whats in them that makes them as good of a tranny as everyone says?

Changed, went from a 5spd to a 6spd
|
That was a big improvement also, I really like it better now.

I love my 6-speed:tu: all the hard parts inside the A1000 are very large compared to all the rest save for maybe the 5r110, but they are larger and that makes it easy to build an Allison with less parts and it will hold as much as other units with much less work
