EFI Uploaded!!
EFI has been uploaded! Thank you Georgia Diesel! Harley is a true Master of his Craft. Harley, Phil, and the rest of the crew were very kind and generous. I highly suggest for any Duramax or any other diesel to do business with these guys! Make sure to be there for their Dyno Day Saturday :rocking:

how is the shift kit workout out for you, my buddy has it on his 04.5 lly and it limps on the same tune that my other lly buddy has and he has no mods done to his trans. But my friend with the 04.5lly has hp tuners and is missing some trq limiting tables though.

Not really that bad, but instead of one foot on the brake, i put both to be safe. Its not as bad it sounds, I can go cruise with it on easily.:tu:
yeah if it tuned the way i think it should, the lope thats tuned it will go away as soon as you hit driving rpms |

Yeah I like how Harley (Georgia Diesel) doesnt use Rail Pressure to create a lope, he messes with the Rpms or sumthing to make it lope. Usually Rail Pressure Lopes hurt the motor:scare2:
idk about that, when they test for high pressure leaks they have you run it at idle at 23kpsi for about 10 minutes and check to see if the oil level rises. and pds and older cummins run like 18kpsi all the time iirc |
i thought the way they tuned for lope was by requesting more fuel at idle than stock but keeping the same idle rpm as stock so the computer keeps cutting out fuel to keep the idle but then more fuel is requested so it starts loping?
Idk, Ive jus been told using Rail Pressure can hurt
alright
i never tried adding a lope into a tune on my truck, i just like tuning it faster :)
i wish i had efi live :(
whats stopping you from buying it?:hellox:
money :( i just bought a new exhaust and a lift pump. hopefully i can aford it this fall but i should get a new tranny before efi live
dude, i would like to have a tranny, but when u look at it, I can pay off my Harely for that much money. So a tranny is NOT on my to-do list
oh but a trans make is sooo much more fun :)
ya my trans is on its last leg
I havent had problems with mine (knock on wood) I know the Allison's limits. 4th and 5th gear is what cause damage, u can give 1st thru 3rd some hell. But not too much.
mine still shifts ok( shifts hard into second). if i get on it real hard or if i pull a trailer the temp guage will go all the way up to 250 (close to 300 if it is hot outside). it normally runs at a tad below 200 just driving down the highway. it might be a fualty sensor or the guage could be off but i never really looked into it.
