Need help!!
Hello everyone, hope your day is going better than mine. I have a problem,, Recently my 2003 GMC 3500 started smoking. While at Idle it will smoke like a gas burner does on a cold morning. It is not loosing water, and the longer you let it sit the more it smokes. It seems like the exhaust is getting oil in it, because after it sits for a few minute and you give it some fuel lots of oil smoke goes out in the usual blue smoke oil burning give away. Could this be the seal in the turbo charger??? Any suggestions to the cause of this problem would be very helpful. Thanks!

most likely an injector issue...have you ever had them changed under the warranty...the LB7's are known for this
|
How do I check them?? Is there a procedure or do you just change them all??

you need someone with a scanner that can check all the inj. percentages...if you know if anybody with efi live they can check it for ya im pretty sure...
they have a 200,000 mile warranty on them thru GM so the dealership will do it for no charge i think, def not 100%:humm: |
take it to the dealer, my money is on the injectors. turn it back to stock if it isnt stock already. and they should take care of it.
