Draining the rail?

Can you drain the rail on a Duramax with just programming?

uwyo_dmax 05-12-2009 05:27 PM

yes with to much pulse width its easy

Begle1 05-12-2009 06:51 PM

Would any off-the-shelf programmers drain the rail enough to set low-rail-pressure codes?

uwyo_dmax 05-12-2009 09:48 PM

i would say the PPE hot would definitely do it

Yes

That same calibration could be used if the cp3 components were updated and programmed properly.

Just a thought.

stacking programmers, clogged fuel filter. PPE tunes. maybe some quadzilla tunes

a p1093 will usually come up if you do

Depends a lot on the truck sometimes 120HP tune can drain the rail.
