i just put a mac cold air intake in my truck and the p0101 code comes on after a few starts...i know its the mass air flow thing but i dont know what to do...i dont want to get rid of the intake but i dont want my service light to be on all the time...whats my options??? and suggestions? i have reset it but it eventually comes back on:humm:

the oil from your filter has coated your maf sensor, you can stop by the local autopart store and buy some maf sensor cleaner, pull the maf sensor out and spray the hell out of it, let it dry and re install it and the code should clear itself. its a problem with oiled filters. |
i just went ahead and put my stock air system back on to see what it did and everything was ok...i think the mac air filter just lets to much air in...do u know anything about those filters? are they suppose to be good or are they junk? im thinking about just gettin a different filter and checking if it will work with the mac system...maybe like a k&n or something...
