Straight pipe for duramax
I have a 2007 GMC 2500 classic and I am thinking about straight piping it. Would it be a good idea and if so, what size pipe should I use?

i think the stock pipe size is 3.75 inches a local muffler shop can do it easily, but getting a kit would be easier and you would benefit more from it
is it a classic body style dmax or nbs, that makes a huge difference. |
If you Have a short-bed. the kit you buy will have an extra pipe for a long-bed. use that to delete the muffler. :U:

you can get a 4 or 5 inch system for the truck. one thing on some lbz's is that when u straight pipe it might throw a code, wont hurt anything, but its annoying to have the light on all the time |
ok where can i buy the kit .

my brother ran 5" then up behind the cab with 4 - 4" chrome curved tips. 07 DMax. He will have to post his own pics. It is awesome looks and sound

My buddy just cut off the cat and muffler in his 01 just to get some noise. Sounds good, and costs nothing, but if your going for upgrades in the future, youll want a kit
