Default Shocks For The Duramax

No big surprise but my shocks are getting a little weak. Where should I turn? Bilstein, Monroe, Edelbrock IAS?

Bilstein or Rancho. I've used both and would recommend either. They will cure the body roll in corners. I currently have the Rancho RS9000X's with in-cab controller and love it. Will keep putting them on my trucks.

Bilstein 5100's. To bad your truck is not lifted I have 4 Rancho adjustable with about 2,000 miles just sitting in my shop.

How much lift would it require to use the shock hoops and shocks?

I had a 6" lift on my 05 which is what I took them off of. It is a fabtech 8" hoop.

I agree, the Ranchos are great shocks, but I have heard good things about the Bilsteins too..

They're both pretty identical in performance and the way they ride. Cant go wrong with either one.
