Tie Rods

Whats the better way to go? Stock with sleeves any make or Cognito Hiem joint conversion with sleeves or Cognito HD full replacements. On the HD replacements they said you need longer links, is the just to push the sway bar up so it clears? My bud has an 06 and he destroyed both of them last night at a pull..... I warned him..... :ph: Any input will be appreciated!

I've got the Cognito HD tie rods. No way in hell your breaking them unless you are running 800hp or better.:5: My sway bar bearly touches them on full turns, but it's only the boot.

What is the best place to get those HD replacements?:humm:

The system on RTToys truck is probably the best I've seen. EXTREMELY beefy!! The stockers are like spaghetti compared to those and when you ride in his truck you can FEEL the difference. :U:

the cognito ones are very tough i have a set myself.

Tie rod sleeves do the same thing though i don't hear anything bad about them.

I have a set of Fabtech Tie rods on my truck, borrowed my friends PPE Hot+2 and was launching in 4x4 with it on level 10... they held through it fine.

I have been running stock tie rods with Pac Brake Tie Rod sleeves for almost 2 years, with a set of cognito braces. Over 100 boosted 4wd launches and 0 problems. Sleeves are $130 and if a tie rod breaks you can get a replacement at your local NAPA if you need.
