2006 chevy duramax
 

i have a 2006 chevy duiramax with the lbz was wondering what the best way to blow black smoke was i got the banks six gun with speedloader and 4" straight pipe exhaust

best way to blow smoke is to get a cummins powered truck.

or.... find the crappiest tune you can. the duramax is great at making big power with no smoke (like it should)

Don't change your dirty air filter, maybe do some donuts in a gravel lot and suck some more dust in there. Less air + same fuel = mucho smoke:jump:

my truck rolls black smoke at level 5 on my edge at low levels of boost but thats it, Duramax's aren't ment to blow a ton of smoke.

take off the boost boot or put a big hole in it, the VVT is made not to do that in these trucks, plus why would you want to do that anyway? all you are doing is washing the cylinder walls down = wear and damage
