have fun, 17mm socket, long extension, needle nose, 10-15 mm sockets, 11-12 mm wrench,

If you haven't started yet get a few 12mm wrenches for the exhaust bolts on the manifold to the turbo. i went though 4 wrench not cheep ones all were snap on and MAC. I've done these nothing to it but time and patients. the bolt are very very tight for a 12mm wrench. but you have to use them not enough room to get socket and rachet or a air gun.

start soaking those exhaust bolts with penetrant as soon as possible.

many like to drop the transmission to get access to those rusty bolts. apparently it is just as fast but saves you a lot of headaches

the other scenario is to lift the cab, then it is real simple.

it is also doable with out any of this

i remove the fender liners both right and left, the right side is were you will spend most of ur time to remove the exhaust bolts at rear of turbo ,, you will need to cut a 1/2 braker bar in half and use a cheater pipe that is about 12 inches long, you will need 12 mil 12 point sockets long ones, the trans is in the way ,you can see all the bolts fom the right side once you have the liners off ,,they are really really tight ,if you can gett a al data repair guide it will tell you what pipes to loosen first ,step by step ,should take about 8 hours to do ,,,pay close attention to the metal gaskets on rear of turbo ,,,,they only go on one way and have tabbs on them that go on one way or all the bolts wont go in correctly, make sure you use antiseize on every bolt you put back in,,,i allways order all 18 bolts that are at rear of turbo ,and i allways use a flex head torque wrench for assembly ,,,have fun and smile a good attitude goes a long way in this repair
