Wont start after sitting for a few days...any ideas????

So the truck has an unusual problem, after it sits for a few days it wont start, it cranks but takes a bit to fire. It doesnt throw any codes either. Im assuming im getting air in the fuel system some how. The drive way has a slight angle but nothing drastic. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The dealer said its not uncommon !!! hmmm i have to disagree :humm:

Sounds like your fuel filter is leaking down. I've seen 4 or 5 do it.
I would change the filter and O-rings, and then look towards the rest of the supply fuel system!

also look at the water in fuel sencer at the bottom of the fuel filter the drain has been knowen to leak...sometimes it wont leak on the ground but just anuff to let in air...hope this helps!!:U:

even just not getting the fuel filter tight enough will do it, also, try to reprime the system and see if that helps:U:

If it's more than a filter, it could be a CP3
