Purchased my first Duramax
 

Haven't posted in awhile but thought I'd drop by and say I purchased my first Duramax. 2006 Chevy 2500HD regular cab long bed. Has the LBZ engine. I purchased it from a family friend that bought it new in 2006. Trucks never had EFI Live but has had a Diablo Sport Predator since it was new. It was always kept in the tow mode or the 65HP mode. Also has an AFE cold air intake a a straight pipe exhaust. Dealer just installed new brakes, rotors, all new brake lines, and new glow plugs and two new batteries. It runs and drives like a new truck. It does have 189,000 miles but they've been easy miles. It's only had a B&M turnover ball for 3 years now and was used very little. Pretty excited to have the truck. It should make a great truck for me and last me a long time. No plans as far as performance goes except 4' MBRP exhaust which I've already ordered. The programmer really wakes the truck up and is really all I need. Not looking for a race truck or a sled puller, just like to have some extra spunk for taking off at red lights or if I just feel like running it for the heck of it. Also has pillar gauges.
