Opinion on Duramax purchase.

Hi guys! First post and probably a question that has been asked but I was not finding much with the search. I am looking at purchasing an 06-07 LBZ and I am hovering on the fence trying to decide to pull the trigger or not. I am finding them with around 100k+ and with price tags around 28-32k. Part of the reason I am still on the fence is that I am having a hard time reconciling 30 grand for a vehicle with 100k on it. What do you guys think about this mileage and price point and would you guys make a similar purchase?

since i am by no means rich i would have to say no

But... 100K is nothing for these trucks unless abused. 100K is less then 1/4 of its life. the Duramax can easily go past 500K with just regular maintenance.

on the flip side, with an equivalent truck with a gas :scare2: motor of only, lets say 50K, how much would you pay, not considering the diesel as an upgrade?

I have a 2006 2500hd CCSB duramax /allison with 200k excellent truck. I would not buy diesel unless your towing ,hauling or just want to have the fastest truck on the road because of diesel prices 4$ per gallon here in FL

Overpriced. Mine is a loaded slt ccsb and I paid $24k cdn with 130k miles on the OD. I wouldn't hesitate on 100-200k on the odom, but definitely watch the price.
