07 LBZ Problem
Hey all, my father-in-law has an 07 Classic with the LBZ. While driving down the road it just cut out and died, like starved for fuel. Fuel pump has previously been replaced not long ago. It started back up and drove for a bit and now it's happened again. It was just at a shop for an unrelated issue (this symptom happened at the same time) and supposedly didn't throw any codes. I'm not an expert by any means, so can anyone point me in the right direction? Father-in-law thinks it may be the primer on the fuel pump, but I've got no clue. :scare2: Any help would be most appreciacted. Thanks in advance!

It is possible. An air leak can cause the engine to stall, it would likely hickup or stumble a little bit before cutting out unless it was during idle.
try replacing the rubber line coming out of the fuel filter with a clear hose and check for air bubbles. |
the primer can cause that.

you replaced the fuel pump?? the CP3??? because that is the only pump you have unless it is a van which I am pretty sure it has a lift pump, try the primer rebuilt or the rubber lines from the drivers door to the Cp3, add a lift pump and vacume will never be a problem again

Sry to bother you with a stupid question, but I'm new to the Forum websites. How do I post a question on a thread, or how do I start a thread?:argh:
