Any particular treatment you prefer?

I like power service brand but we use stanadyne at the shop. Power service is a little easier to get a hold of, parts houses carry it and I think Ive seen it at walmart before.

I have the same problem it started a few days ago. but only up to 40 mpg and only when i give it fuel the clatter just started when i let off it stops and it dosent do it all the time and my oil still has 80%. I changed my fuel filter and added diesel kleen to my fuel but it still does the clatter any suggestions Thanks for the help.

I would try what i did and test your fuel for water. Just drain it into a clear glass and let it sit for awhile. 1hr or 2. That was my problem. I drained out most of the tank and refilled it with good fuel then changed the filter.

I have the same exact symptoms and and codes going on EXACTLY as TOWERHAND
I could copy and paste his exact problems and codes so was hoping to see how he faired mine is a 2004 lly ok so i just had the truck scanned at the machanic shop and this is what it came up with.\ po300 random misfire po302 2 misfire po303 3 misfire po305 5 misfire po308 8 misfire po675 glow plug 1 control circuit What would be the cause of all these going bad at the same time? Would this control circuit cause any of these other issues? WITH EXACT PROBLEM |
