i bought the edge cs evolution a few months ago i set it on the performance mode.. but recently i got brave an put it on the extreme setting. i did the tranny relearn but how will i know when the relearn is done? any imput would help!

 

should only take a day or 2... ease into it slowly. gradual 1/8 and 1/4 mile acceleration. let it learn you want higher RPM shifts, before you hammer down. ether way would suggest it on a stock trans.

 

the recommended procedure is to relearn the trans then do as follows

1/4 throttle acceleration to 60
1/2 throttle acceleration to 60
3/4 throttle acceleration to 60
full throttle acceleration to 60

repeat in tow/haul as well

yup, the transmission learns quick, you just need some open road to get on it

 

you guys are right I just went through this on my 07 after the transgo jr install after I drove it I really couldnt tell much different so I came back to the shop unhooked the batt. for 20 mins or so and proceeded with the relearn now nice firm short shifts with no limp even in extreme.
