EGR, PCV reroute, CAT delete

I just bought a 04.5 LLY, and I'm going to make some small mods to start with, and work my way up.
1st the CAT delete pipe. I have checked there is a cat, so I will be buying a delete pipe. Will this possibly throw any codes?

2nd the PCV reroute. I believe this is pretty self explanatory buy the hose, a copper T, and some wire ties, and a plug or rubber stool foot cover.

3rd the EGR, I have found lots of people talk about doing this EGR block, and finger stick. I really have no idea what I'm looking for here, or where the EGR is located. :argh: I am new the DMAX, and would really like some pics, or a link to more information as far as seeing what I'm working on, and trying to block.
Thanks for all your help guys.:c:

I'm really shocked that 20 people have viewed this, and nobody is willing to give any help. I find that very ridiculous, and might have to change to another forum. I'm starting to think that Dmax drivers might be extremely unhelpful, and or extremely selfish.

The whole exhaust is not much more than the delete pipe.
You can get a egr blocker plate and if you dont have a tuner or EFI Live to shut the egr off you can buy the finger sticks to fool it.

The pvc reroute kits are cheap,or you can build your own pretty easy.

its not really that ridiculous, it is a 6 speed transmission, not a 4 speed, there is room for the trans to downshift to a more efficient RPM, getting it as close to its peak torque as possible:hellox:

Plus if it is a 6 speed allison then it is not an 05, it is an 06 LLY which is basically a detuned LBZ, it wouldnt take much to get it to LBZ hp ranges

Well you are starting on the right course, get rid of the emissions junk, it only hurts your engines performance

The EGR is located on the passenger side rear of the engine bay, right beside the turbo, it is a long silver pipe, where you install the blocker plate is right against the firewall at the back of the EGR cooler, it is a PAIN to get to, and its a pain to loosen the bolts off because they seize on due to so many heating/cooling cycles, so WD40 or something similar will be needed for sure, and do it when the engine is a little warm, like after sitting for an hour or so after a short drive, once you get them loose its just a matter of sliding the plate into place between the cooler and pipe coming up from the exhaust, make sure you put the gasket on the exhaust side not the cooler side, and then just bolt back tight

dont take the bolt on the one side and the nut on the other off, just leave them there, just loosen it enough to slide the plate in, you may need a small pry bar to spread the gap between the exhaust side and cooler

Hope this helps you, and if you have any more questions please dont hesitate to ask, I would have answered sooner but I have been busy as of late and havnt had time to come on here:tu:
