Get that stock crap out ASAP. 9 times out of 10....the fluid level is not correct from the factory and the fluid is milky looking.........so do yourself a favor and change it ASAP!

I'm with Duluth Diesel on this one.. I plan on changing mine out shortly. I was using Amsoil 75w90 in my diff, but I want to upgrade it to the 110 severe gear. You can contact any one of us with questions regarding Amsoil.

75-90 synth. Well i hope thats right thats what ive got in mine

Heath 05-17-2007 07:25 AM

75-90 is fine and is what is called for. It's just with the new viscosity range classification, the 75-110 is now a newer, maybe more attractive option for some.

GRI 05-17-2007 08:26 AM

what companies make the 75-110 now?

Heath 05-17-2007 03:01 PM

Actually, non that I can find?? Just AMSOIL. No manuf. specifies the 110 yet, but it may be coming.
Here is a Q&A from AMSOIL(placed under the AMSOIL threads):

Just mix some 75-90 and 75-140
