i puchased my first duramax tonite its a 05 crew cab shortbed i dont know much about the duramax all i have owned are cummins so dont know what area to start the upgrades any help would be nice:humm::humm:

I'd start with an intake, exhaust, and a tuner. EGR blocker plate, PVC Reroute, and Update the turbo mouthpiece.

These are great upgrades for your LLY. But be ready to do head gaskets in the future.

As long as your deck the heads, put in the updated gaskets, and stud it. Your good to go.
