Default EGR delete problems

I do have a general question. I just bought a 2004 Silverado HD Duramax, I did the EGR delete on it. I noticed the difference immediately, but now I have oil coming out of my tailpipe. turbo seems to be working fine. I am thinking clogged drain or oil seal went out do to the extra pressure. Any thoughts?

I don’t believe that the two would be related in any way.

Pull the intake off of the turbo and check for endplay, side to side, up/down movement. Spin the shaft by hand. Also look for any signs of the compressor wheel contacting the housing.

After that you have to start digging deeper.

Thanks Crawler, sounds like a good idea. I'll post my findings once done.
