LML Torque Converter in LLY?

Has anyone ever ran an stock LML Torque converter in place of the stock LLY Torque converter? I've heard of people doing this over on different duramax forums mainly because the LML converter is essentially just a slightly beefed up variation.

Any opinions or thoughts on this?
