Hi im new to this forum and i need some opinions on a used truck im looking at. its a 2005 gmc sierra duramax lly crew cab the interior is in good shape minus the carpet it has 160k. It has a six in lift 35" toyos with good tred still ,side bars,stack,a fuel tank in bed,aftermarket front bumper,aftermarket control arms, billet tierod ends,airbags on top of the leafs, im not sure on any tranny upgrades accept an ats tranny controler, pyro and boost gauge so im going to assume that it is chiped or was chiped, and there is rhino lining on the front and back bumper also on fender flares and sides from the moldings down. anyway they are asking 22k for it is this an ok deal or are they asking way to much? also is that alot of miles for a truck like that? all opinions will be appreciated thanks!

That's a bit steep, even with all that's done on the truck.
What does Kelly blue book say on the proper price for that year of truck.
Honestly that sounds steep on price.

Yah it blue booked at about 18k iv been looking around and everyone that has something similar on Craig's list is asking around the same. I think I might just offer 19 or 20k at most and see what happens.

The ad also says it has ethanol injection:humm: I believe they meant methanol as in water meth injection. I don't know much about water meth inj. So is that a scary thing to have on a used truck? Or is water meth safe for the engine?

water meth is safe ... if used right ... and 22 with all thats done is still a bit high .. i think i would low offer to 18/18.5 and go from there ... dont be afraid to walk and see what they say as your waliking away .. workd everytime for me ..LOL:rocking:
