05 p1093 code

Hello all. Im new to the site and looking for info about the p1093 code. The truck has a ppe economy tuner I run on the second tune 90 hp and aslo has 5inch mbrp exhaust. Today while driving I put my foot into it and it kinda bogged down for maybe 3 seconds and the check engine light came one. I continued to drive for a few miles to store and shut it down with no other problems. Started it drove home with light on didn't notice any issues at all. When I plugged the ppe tuner in it detected that code and I reset it took it for a boot and runs totally fine . I just bought the truck two months ago and fuel filter was done then and I have only put on a thousand miles. Truck has 79 k on it and only used it to tow a few times. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

P1093 is fuel pressure low during power enrichment.

basically if the ecm demands high fuel pressure and does not get it or it drops after then it will set this code and should go into limp home mode.

fuel filters are normally the first to check as it is one of the cheapest things to do. it is possible that you got a bad take of diesel and it clogged up the filter.

other possibility are:
-Fuel pressure relief valve popping to low
-Weak CP3 or a regulator going bad
-Air leak getting into the fuel. A leak in the suction side of the CP3 and related lines can let in air and cause low fuel pressure. this will usually have other issues come with it like hard starting or rough idling.
-one of the rubber line supplying fuel to the CP3 is internally collapsed or just kinked
-there is a few others but cant think of them right now
