Best bet is probably double check the pins on the ECM harness and they sure they all line up flush with each other and take a good look at your ECM and see if theres an debris in it.

make your your battery is disconnected.

When you were installing the race valve did you get any fuel draining out off the rail? how much?

jdugie123 03-27-2008 12:42 PM

a little came out of the rail but not much i really don't think it is the fuel rail i think it is something to do with the ecm so when i get home i am going to check over all the connections again

ok. look for any pieces of trash and maybe if you have some electric connector cleaner spray some on the pins and let it dry.

You said you removed your dsp5 right?

jdugie123 03-27-2008 04:10 PM

ya i removed it i will try to stop by my shop i work at and get some cleaner also i know i broke the little green holder in half last night the last time i looked at everything so i have to find the other half so i am going to start on it once i get home

ok i checked all the fuses and didn't blow any of them then i looked at the connector and low and behold the very first wire going into the plug was a little further out then the rest of them pushed it in further and the truck started right up. want to thank everyone that helped i don't know what i would do with out you guys

Good deal!! :up2: BTW- if you have a leak at the FPRV you will surely know it. At over 20Kpsi it'll let you know its there. :f:

dsp5 tunes are really easy to make, PM me if you have any problems, just be sure to use a strong tune as the Base tune, if you start with your stock tune you will not be able to get the full potential out of this switch.

jdugie123 03-28-2008 09:27 AM

so what you mean by starting with my strong tune i should use the big tune that i got from nick and upgrade the os on the one to make it a dsp tune oh and i sent you an email with my current tune larry thanks for looking at it

Nevermind that, I went thru what you sent and tweeked it, the dsp voltages were off a lot which would keep the switch from working and as afr as boost, it was way low. Let me know if I got you fixed. :c:
