hi coolant pressure???

i just got the water pump replaced cause it cracked no idea how but it did.....the shop said its good but my cooling system pressure is very hi...any one kno wht it could be???

what do mean by high system pressure? does coolant over flow the coolant tank? does the upper rad hose stay hard even after sitting overnight?
