lb7 fuel knock and fast idle
 

i has a 03 3500 4x4 crew cab with a lb7 with banks 6 gun thats started fuel knocking and missing. now it has started a fast idle that it has never done before.

i towed my jeep to the mountains about 3 hours for a weekend of trail riding and when got home and unloaded to jeep. the duramax wouldent start. changed the fuel filter and put a cap full of veg oil in primer pump to lube orings.

about 4 months ago i put all new injectors in it.

i hooked the new snap on verus scanner up and the #5 and #8 injector had no change when i did cylinder drop test. also i noticed the fuel pressure coltrol was at 40. did a test on it and dropped down to 25 and knock and miss went away. Truck ran great and sounded crisp. as soon as exit the test resets to 40 and all problems came back.

put new controler on and some knock went away but not all. took banks out of truck and now knock and fast idle.

dash board is also slow comming on can take 1-3 mins. today noticed coolant gauge is inop.

do you think coolant sensor bad and had computer over fuling to heat up engine. or ive read about banks deprograming ecms????
