exhaust
I got a 02 gmc dually and I got a "custom" exhaust on it but I am wantin to either put duals pipes out the back or stacks haven't decided any suggestion or the best exhaust you know of for the best money. Also wantin a cold air intake but not sure what brand I'm. Kinda new at the diesel pickup scene so lemme know what y'all think or have.

i would go with the duel out the back. i like the look of stacks but dont want the extra unwanted attention they might bring
in my opinion most manufactures will provide similar quality exhausts. if you don't go with stainless then get the cheapest that will work for you. same goes for the intake IMO. get one that can still use the stock filter (or off the shelf) so you can always get one at your local auto store if needed. you will also have more aftermarket choices for filters if you want to try them out. |
Yea true small town purdy sure I don't need anymore attention

i'd go with dual out the back. just got it on my truck and love it...but its straight piped. intake take a look at the afe pro stage II

I had a 97 7.3 with 5" stacks and I did not build anything around them in the bed, lots of stuff got melted. Yes that was my fault for not enclosing. It was straight piped and the noise got old and I like loud.
I have straight piped 4" duals on my GMC and IMO it looks pretty good, sounds good but pretty tame compaired to the Ford. |
Edit, I just helped my buddy install the MBPR cool duals and down pipe on his 05 lly with a single and it sounds bad freakin A.., Guess second turbo makes a big difference in noise level.

The MBRP dual setups do sound amazing!
