Just replaced all 8 injectors =(... and remaned injector pump... still throws code P0405- EGR sensor low voltage... If I want to do a EGR delete what am I looking at in terms of parts/labor? Is it an intensive procedure? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
(Only mods are AFE stage II intake and MBRP 4" exhaust).

 

you will need a new up pipe, and a new intake y bridge or block off plates. and tuning to get rid of the egr in the computer

 

are there any performance benefits to doing this delete? Thanks.

 

not much performance, but you can just do a block off plate and use a finger stick to delete the codes.

 

Off subject.... But only a few LB7s came with an EGR correct? Cali models I believe??

 

Doing erg plate or delete drops egt s and engine temp (I have the plate option wich took 30 min to do not hard)

On the pass side of engine theres a roughly a 2" tube thats on the top partof engine that part of it its in between the waste gate actuator and trany dip stick

There are no finger sticks to delete egr for the lb7. You need efi live. Ppe might do it as well

 

Where do you get the parts for the egr block?
