Low oil pressure after injector swap

I Changed oil about 700 miles ago, with no trace of fuel.but was due for injectors. Had fuel contamination in oil this past week.just completed the job of swapping out all 8 injectors on my 03 lb7 w/ california emissions today. all went well, but driving home from the garage, i noticed much lower than normal oil pressure. almost red line at idle, and about 60 psi otherwise. while doing the injectors, i drained the oil and left plug out to get all i could out, along with removed the filter. oil and filter replaced. was going to drain again now that truck has been run, just to assure all fuel is out of oil. my thought is that there may still be fuel collected on the oil pressure sensor causing an inaccurate reading? any suggestions?

I also noticed that the pressure sensor, underneith the two main ecm plugs (on the drivers side) doesnt have a hose connected to the bottom side. seems as though i may have missed hooking it back up. only problem is, i cant visually see a hose that is out of place. can anyone direct me as to where i should begin looking for it? or where the other end is hooked to. thank you in advance.

low oil pressure

I to changed my injectors in March ever since my oil pressure has been about 13psi at idle and 28psi at 1800rpms. It will also say low oil pressure in the diy center sometimes when coming to a stop. GM specs show the oil pressure I am at to be normal I have replaced the oil pressure switch twice and installed a mechanical autometer oil pressure gauge and it shows the same as my dash. I dont know what the problem is or if there is a problem at all runs fine so I guess I will just run it till it blows up unless anyone can tell me something I dont already know.

there is no hose going to the pressure sending unit, it threads into an adapter that threads into the block.

as far as oil pressure goes, if its in specs don't worry about it.

if its low, oil pressure would be low when the clearances in the engine have increased, due to wear. or if there is still fuel in the oil.

the injectors could be bad, or maybe you could have cracked a injector return line seal by over torquing a high pressure injector line, giving you problems leaking fuel into you oil.
