Tire Size Question
I need to get new tires and would love to get new rims as well, but the budget isnt that big right now. What is the biggest tire size I can put on the stock rim with a leveling kit installed. I am looking to go with a LT285/75R16 General Grabber AT

I have heard of 305's but they needed a little trimming
285's should fit no problem:c: |
i put 315/70/16s mickey thompson mtz's on my stock 04 with the bars cranked up,the leveling kit is a waste of money your stock keys will bring it up past level. you will have to trim a little bit but not alot.

Got a 3 in torsion lift on mine running 315/70/17, u will have to do a lil trimming but not much.:tu:

I dont think its possible to lift the front 3 inchs higher then the stock keys with lift cause it would bottom out the A-arm stops. |
Maybe your rite thats just what I was told when it was installed. Nothing is bottomed out, I still have a lil rubbing when the wheels r turned all the way in reverse. Other than that its fine. You couldve had the centers trimmed out to fit the h2.

I put 285/75/16 on mine, but put new rims to them cuz you can see the tire bulge on the stock rim it's pushing the limit this size on stock rims. Can do but pushing it. Off set of the rim is going to play an effect as well some offset more than other which can make the tire rub. Mine rub slightly only when i crank the wheel all the way. Putting the leveling keys to the truck would help with less rub.

285's on th stock alum wheels is about the biggest you can go without trimminf much of anything.
you might have to you can crank up the t bars about 3 turns, but besides that its all good. if your feelin frisky you can stuff 315's under there, im currently running 315/70/17's with my front end lowed, but i did trim alot off, including my bumper :D |
i got 315/75/16 but then again i have a 6 inch lift under her i wanted to try and throw some 37's on er :humm:
