Injector help

So, I took my 04 2500LT duramax into the dealer today to get the injectors replaced under the factory 7 year 200,000 mile warranty. Truck smokes lots of white smoke at idle, and I hooked a GM tech II programmer up and found that #2 and #8 injectors were way off, and others were looking bad too. Well apparently my truck came out in 2003 for the 04 models....so no free injectors for me, im 3 months too late. So question is, what injectors should I buy, size and brand? And how hard is the swap going to be? I've replaced powerstroke, cummins, cat and perkins, but never worked on internal duramax parts. Thanks for any help guys, I really need it!!!

Re: Injector help

That will definitely help! What about a good brand and size to go with? New or refurbished?

Injectors

The brand from the factory are Bosch and more than likely will be refurbished I think only the newer chevy's actually can get brand new ones from what i read.I know that sort of doesn't make sense, but from what i've dug up that's true it's hard to get new ones. I'm in the process of replacing mine on a 01. Another brand guy's go with on upgraded injectors like 50 75 100hp injectors are DDP injectors just type that in will take you to their web.
