ABS and E brake lights

I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem as me...'01 lb7 everytime the truck is running the E brake light and the ABS lights are on...The E brake is disengaged and the ABS definately works...sometimes the lights don't come on right away, like clockwork they always do no matter if it's 2 minutes after startup or 15 minutes. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to fix it? The dealership (which went out of business since) told me it was the computer module and it would cost $500+ to fix. I definately don't want to spend that much money just to have two lights shut off in my cluster. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

someone on diesel place just told me it's the EBCM, which is about $500 new or so I have heard from my local dealership which has since gone out of business since I had it diagnosed there...I didn't know if they were trying to take me for a ride or not so I figured I would ask around on here....I don't know about you, but I don't feel like paying $500 to shut two lights off in my cluster.

sometimes the ground can be bad for the ebcm, there is a ground cable on the frame right under the drivers door close to the A frame.

pull the bolt out and clean up the contacts and put a new bolt in.

i to have done the ground cleaning on ALL my grounds. fixed all problems i was having.

well I cleaned the area surrounding and replaced the bolt for the ground on the driver's side under the cab (which I believe someone on here said was the ground for the ABS system) the light came on after about two minutes of the motor idling. It didn't seem to help anything...are there any other grounds that might be connected to the brake or abs system that might help my situation?

i dont' know if this will help, but my front hub ABS sensor wires where loose enough to rub the wheel and it cut them in half causing the light to come on... I replaced just the sensors and all is well now... not sure if that will help, but something to look at also...
