Transgo Shift KIT-500HP???
 

I know this has been asked but I have never got a clear answer...
The transgo shift kit NOT jr claims it can handle up to 500hp. Is this claim true?

Im hoping it is lol.

I can't really see the kit helping the trans that much. I put transgo kits in every automatic i've ever owned. The kit reprograms shift points and line pressure. This helps the clutch packs live longer by not letting them slip in to the next gear, and that also in return helps take the load off the converter. But this will only help if the parts inside can take the abuse. If they can't, the clutchs inside wont hold for long.

It wont help for 500hp.... 450rwhp it will help for quite a while, but the only way to make a transmission hold 500hp is to build it:bat:
