Default injector warranty

i have a 02 dmax and i have heard that their injector warranty is a 200,000 mile warranty is this correct or just a rumor. is there a year cut off date for this warranty also?

my bro got his 03 warrantied at right over 100k miles

i have 2004 and just got it out of the shop for injectors and gm took care of it my truck had 134000 on it can hurt to ask

its 7 year/200k, whichever comes first.

10 years, 200,000 miles
Just had it done

I have a 2002 silverado (8 years old)

Injectors changed at no cost

i would assume that this would also depend on when the truck was purchased, not when it was made correct? so he "could" still be barely under warranty......

if this is true then you have been changing all your injectors yourself when you could have got them done for free......

its from the manufacture date they go by.

and thats some monkey poo, im lookin up TSB's right now

Default Injector warranty

I bought the truck new April 2002

I was told I had almost two more years remaining on this new extended GM warranty.

I suggest calling your local dealer for more detail

well i think that warrenty would be voided if they saw my truck anyway
