It wont work mainly because the shims arnt the right size, second the lb7 dosen have the safe guard programed in the pcm to where when the psi reaches the high then drops it limps, the lb7 dosent trip a limp mode code so unless you dont want your rail psi to drop to 22000 psi then you dont have to modify it, danny modified his he can tell you the size and how to do it.

okay im slowly understanding this stuff. :tu: So back to my original question: How much power loss is there when there is low fuel rail pressure during enrichment (p1093)? I mean, Is my engine putting out 50% power or lower or higher, when the pressure is low?

alot, flow of fuel is cut down drastically when the pressure id lower in the rails, (pressure differential from the fuel in the rail escaping into the cylinder)

And when that code is on, it cuts alot of fuel out of it to bein with.

I just went thru all the power loss stuff and with 2500HD HELP WE FOUND THAT MY CP3 was bad. Do your self a favor and test the pump pressure while driven. Actual pressure should match the desired +\- around 200psi or so. You can read my long thread on the injector regulator and that will give you a good idea of what all it could be and how to check each thing. Good luck but I bet the cp3 is going...:nope:
