Whats up fellas ? First post on here and glad to be here. Anyways my truck has been having a harder time starting lately than it usually does after its been sitting for a while, it hasnt been as cold over the past couple months so i dont think its the cold, i also have been running an addative in my fuel to help not gel up. so im thinking fuel filter maybe ? or are my glowplugs going bad ? also it did blow out a little bit of white smoke when it finally cranked over the other day. i recharged my battery today and when i hooked up my charger the battery was already showing at least 75% charged and was fully charged in less than an hour. Just curious as to what my order of checking things should be ? I have put 11k on the truck sense i have owned it and that is over a year and a half, any and all suggestions are welcomed. thanks

 

check your oil see if the level has risen or if there is any diesel fuel in there.

does it blow smoke at the initial startup?

 

It only blew a little bit of white smoke that i could see after it finally cranked over, ill check out my oil tommorrow and was also told that my battery might not be putting out enough cranking amps even though it has a good charge so im gonna take it down to checker or auto zone tommorrow also and see if they can check that out for me.
