get that to the dealer asap. the diesel fuel is not good for the bearings.

there is still a 7year/200kmile warrenty for the injectors and you should be coverd

kewll thanks ive heard from a couple people about the 200,000 mile warente but wasent posative ive got an appt. for the truck to go in this friday. do u think i should take off my edge n cold air intake?

2500HeavyDuty 12-07-2009 02:44 PM

take off the edge, they didnt give me any problems with my CAI or exhaust, but if u want to be on the safe side its only a 5 minute swap to switch back to stock

i just got my injectors replaced an they do tests on your injectors an if it passes them you get them covered for free an if they see you had a chip on it they wont replace them

i just got my 03 lb7 back from the dealer, i took it in for the same problem - smoke at idle only when at operating temp though, they told me since I only have 1, maybe 2 injectors leaking from the nozzle it is not covered by the 7/200k warranty, they say the only way they warranty them is if they are leaking from the upper part of the injector body which causes fuel to enter the oil. I might wait a month, dump some diesel into my oil and take it in again. what do you guys think?:humm: my warranty is over in june.

diesel in the oil is usually a sure thing, have you tried other dealerships?
