bad injector vs particulate filter

Ok, gotta question for you gurus out there. I have an 04 3500, has been running good - no drop in milage, but smokes a little bit at idol (white smoke), and there seems to be a lack of pwoer. Took it to a family friend and he informed me that I have two injectors bad. Dropped it off at the dealership this morning (to capitalize on the warranty), and they told me that afte running the battery of diagnostics, there is nothing indicating a bad injector (everything is producing good pressure, no oil in the fuel and vice versa). The dealer asked if I had the particulate filter on the exhaust changed - it has not. Does anyone know if a bad particulate filter will give the same "symptoms" as a bad injector? I have not had any codes come up either. Any ideas will be great!

Keep an eye on the oil level. If you got two bad injectors, you will notice a change (viscosity, color, and smell).

I had the same problem with my 2003! Only smoked at idle and once got to driving it would quit. If it keeps up and you want to get it changed under warranty you will need to have diesel fuel in your oil. If this is found then there is no questions asked. Don't let them tell you the smoking could be bad mass air sensor, cause it's not I bought a new one and still did same crap! It is the injectors for sure!!

thanks for all the feed back. after a battery a testing, the dealership concluded it was not a bad injector (they did however, find that the pressure was low and they changed that parameter in the computer). I've checked the oil and the level has not changed, nor does it seem to smell or look any different. I've heard that the wiring harness could be an issue - going to check that next.
