if its cracked injectors you would get lots of fuel dumped into the oil and the oil pressure would drop down severely. but my guess would be the cp3 since you tested it with the tech 2

Hey guys it was the INJECTORS ALL ALONG!!!! Thanks for the help and I will be checking in at times.

Well I am back...:humm:I thot it was fixed but after i drove a friends truck like mine I was very upset!!! I HAVE NO POWER!!!!! His truck was all stock and would just fly compared to mine. I did have a problem with the injectors at the time of this first posting but now I have a problem with fuel pressure again. With the TECH II connected driving down the road it runs good up to about 1/2 throttle and then everything after that is down hill. It calls for 23000,psi and the actual drops from 13,000 to 3,000psi. Some say the pump and some say the regulator. So anyone got any ideas?

fpr or pump

I have the same problem with my almost stock 2003 duramax, I replaced the fpr and no differance, so now its time to change the pump, so I would say change your pump, but I dont know for sure if yours is the same thing as mine. But thats what I did and it did not help my truck, so the pump is the only thing left to change, already changed injectors, and fpr, and change filter every oil change, so hope chaging the pump does it, my truck will only go about 75 mph, and throw's code P1093 so talked to dealer they said it was either a bad flex hose at tank that could be collapesed or the fpr or the pump, or injectors, said if injectors or a leak it would have fuel in crankcase, I do not have any fuel in crankcase and already changed fpr and all my flex lines look good so Im going with the new pump and hope that will fix the problem.

To the last post. Put a tech 2 on your truck and drive it. While excelerating watch you fuel pressure. My would build and fall off at about 14000 down to as low as 8000 when it should have been like 20,000. Pump fixed mine
