mine is leaking to but you dont have to take your starter off just everything else lol

if you have a 3/4 impact that has gobs of torque then yes, but if you dont, then move the starter out of the way and stick a 1/2 extension in the hole of the fly wheel and get a 3/4 breaker/cheater to to get the bolt out.

Sooooo, you done yet???? The sad part was, I knew your air compressor couldn't power my 3/4" impact for more than one weak hit. :ouch: Hope the 3/4" breaker bar lasted longer than the 1/2" :run:

2500HeavyDuty 09-01-2008 10:07 PM

yeah im done :)

i also replaced my powersteering pump, cleaned and shined my intercooler, tubes and boots.

Cleaned the RAD and most of the plastic trim that i removed to get to the son of a gun. changed my oil and flushed my powersteering fluid.

i think im done untill i get some real tools.

I took some pics maybe i could do a po-mans write up with out powertools

keep in mind it is a left handed thread. you don't have to replace the water pump just the o-rings the work is the same but the parts are a lot cheaper

2500Heavy Duty, how hard was this to tackle? I need to replace the water pump on my 3500 this weekend. Got any tips? Much appreciated!
