Need engine help

Ok so for starters have an 02 lb7. about a 2 weeks ago I just had light blue exaust smoke on acceleration in the lower gears. Now it's starting to lightly haze a blueish grey color. And now on acceleration it's a thick blueish grey. I've taken it to the shop they say injectors. But since it's blue smoke, wouldn't that mean it's burning oil? I had it scanned when I first noticed it and the balance rates read decent (within specs). They're about due to be swapped anyway so that's not a big deal. What I'm concerned about is the blue smoke. Do I need to look into it being a gasket or is that a typical injector thing?

I would think it is burning oil if it is blue. Are you running any additives? W85? Kidding on that one.

Are you needing to add oil before oil changes? I would do a balance rates check before shelling out for new injectors.

I've ran a bottles of Lucas through the oil and gas, and have had the balance rates checked they were half decent.. within specs anyhow. I forget which cylinder it was but once I put it in gear in went haywire, which is odd because I figure it'd go nuts in at idle

Balance rates are supposed to be no more then +-4 in park and +-6 in gear. Not between each other but for each individual injector. What are yours?
