Fuel in oil
I just bought a 2001 lb7 duramax that ran fine but the injectors leaked real bad at idle I purchased kits and o/h my injectors runs great except gets fuel in oil did the vac test on the return lines and right side leaks about 1 lb for 30 secs. Should I remove injectors and have tested for split or just try to seal up line or gaskets I would get a gallon or two in 300 to 400 miles. Some say to replace the lines Is that needed don't really want to pull apart again I still like this truck and don't want to HATE IT!!!

sounds like cracked injector body's which means you need a set of injectors most likely
High pressure lines , or cracked injector(s) .. :td:
Thanks Guy's, I have the right side opened up and I am going to pull those four injectors and have them checked. (not an easy fix out here in the boonies)
Or in a shop that has every tool .. :c::pca1:

i never try to re use gaskets under the valve covers. but yeah its a real pain working with those.

still sounds like cracked injector bodies to me which cannot be repaired. only way to fix cracked bodies is new injectors
rtv on what?
rtv
I was told to put rtv on threads of upper and lower caps of the injector
