Default New Duramax

Hey everyone, I'm new to the duramax world, use to have a powerstroke. Looking at purchasing a 04 GMC 3500. Just looking for some tips and hints before i go look at buying it since i'm 6 hrs away. I'll throw the link on here to get everyones opinion. Thanks

the truck looks good. Check the trans. fluid to make sure its not burnt. find out if it's a lb7 or lly motor in the truck. if it's an lb7 find out how long since the injectors were changed, they usually last 100,000 to 150,000 miles. check out the front end, if it's possible, for slack in the ball joints, tie rod ends, pitman arm or idler arm, or upper a-arm bushings.
